Instincts are natural actions that you perform as part of an animals natural gameplay. Performing instincts successfully rewards you with in-game points known as Tracks. Instincts can include things such as eating different plants, successfully hunting prey, & migrating.

Yes. There will be weather that reflects the in-game season, with strong storms during the wet season and droughts during the dry season.

Herbivores can use the alert call to reveal predators to their herd. When a predator is spotted, nearby herbivores have the option to enter flee mode by holding the 'spacebar'. Flee Mode significantly increases stamina but prevents you from attacking for several minutes.

As a herbivore, being attacked before spotting a predator causes you to enter Spook Mode. Spook Mode works the same as Flee Mode except you are forced into it, and you can still attack predators that provoke you first. The length of Spook Mode varies depending on the size of your herd and how many predators attack. From the predator's perspective, prey becomes spooked when you successfully land an attack on the prey without being spotted first.
